The art and practice of meditation is an integral tool for self awareness and healing. Honing our ability to focus inside helps us slow down our thoughts, feelings and reactions, and creates the internal space necessary to make more empowered and aware choices.
In these on going classes I will guide us through a meditation as well as teach the basics of awareness and perception. Then I will lead us through a guided meditation. We will also get a chance to share our experience of the meditation.
We will practice:
• Awareness of senses
• Awareness of awareness
• Awareness of thoughts and emotions (parts)
• Awareness of space
Practicing meditation in this progressive method systematically increases our level of open awareness towards our inner and outer worlds, and dramatically increases our ability to live healthier, more connected and meaningful lives.
